The new look of Facebook
I like the new Facebook timeline as it lets us easily highlight and organize our posts. It also allows us to post back in time, so we can add past events to our timeline. Its activity log feature lets us see and modify our own activity in a neat and quick way. Also, the large space for our cover photo is a great opportunity to express ourselves on our main page. However, I think on public fan pages where there are hundreds of posts each day, the timeline in its current state makes it hard to navigate and keep up with the discussions. For personal Facebook pages, the new look and use of the timeline is definitely an improvement.
On my cover photo, I tried to summarize my activities and interests with a sample of my pictures, and my outlook on life with my favorite inspirational quote. I do change my profile picture once in a while, however I think I will keep my cover photo for a long time!
