VALENCIA, Calif. -  A 20-year-old man was listed in critical condition after he was struck by a roller coaster at Six Flags Magic Mountain Saturday in Valencia.

The man lost his hat on a ride and climbed two security fences to retrieve it, park officials said. That's when he was struck by the Ninja roller coaster and knocked unconscious.

The man's name has not been released.

SERIOUSLY did he not hear about the kid that was decapitated at a six flags in GA? You have got to be kidding me right? TAKE YOUR STUPID hats off BEFORE you ride a roller coaster. Do they not think that wind hitting your head and hat at 55 mph might blow your hat off. Now the people running these rides should make them take it off before getting on and not start until ALL hats and shades are off. This is just stupid RISK MY LIFE for A HAT? SERIOUSLY?
