Trayvon Martin - Don't be silent speak up

CNN PRODUCER NOTE     DarrelBookie, an amateur photographer in Brooklyn, New York, wants to send a message. He shot this photo in his studio last night. 'I thought I would send it to get the word out,' he says. 'I don't get up and speak at a podium. I take pictures and send them out.' He says the photo, focused on the skittles wrapper, represents speaking up. 'We shouldn't stay silent. We should basically talk about those who are out there discriminating and those who are racist,' he says. Personally, he thinks Trayvon was unjustly killed and the only way to get revenge is to not be silent. 'At the end of the day, we have to change the laws in Florida.'
