    St Louis Trayvon MArtin rally

CNN PRODUCER NOTE     unclaimed, of Annapolis, Missouri, drove two hours to St. Louis, to be a part of a rally for Trayvon Martin. The rally took place on the steps of City Hall and lasted for about two hours, after which there was a march. She says she went because it was an issue that hit close to home: 'I have friends who are often racially profiled...My sons are always racially profiled. Always. And it could have been any of our kids.' However, she says the atmosphere was hopeful. 'They addressed the issue of violence, period,' she says. 'Not just racial profiling, but also black on black killing. Not just this Trayvon killing, but just killing, period. So I think it was a productive rally, it was eye opening for me.' The rally was organized by younger adults, which impressed her. While the majority of participants were young, her mother, 71, also attended.

The rally was held on and around the steps of city hall in downtown St. Louis. Another prayer vigil was held that same night, march 23rd, in Tower Grove park. Trayvons father's best friend who lives in East St. Louis was one of the speakers. Thanks Mashan Taylor
