I am a 55 year old retired U.S. Navy man who is educated, refined, and aware. If I were to obscure that by donning a hoodie, would it morph me into a suspicious person worthy of being followed, stalked, and inevitably being shot to death? Why does an article of clothing represent malice and distrust? I don't believe, for a second, that Treyvon deliberately attacked Zimmerman. This was a secular case where a neighborhood watch individual, who was armed, allowed himself to abuse what little authority he may have had and resulted in the death of a 17 year old kid. It is quite apparent that Zimmerman is much bigger than Treyvon and his ego, coupled with perhaps his personal hatred of blacks, resulted in a completely unecessary and tragic death. The Sanford Police Department totally botched the Investigation, the Chief of Police dips out of the limelight, and in general, the people of this country are enraged as to why Zimmerman remains free. The justice system in this country has paired up with the healthcare system: both are totally useless. Americans are prey to fat lawyers whose only intent is to line their own pockets. They don't actually care if you're guilty or innocent......it's all about money. So why the look of bewilderment when the citizens decide enough is enough and take matters into their own hands? We are quickly approaching an era when law enforcement will be given the same courtesy as they give us.......none. Wake up, people in government. Hiding behind the cloak of laws that were made without our approval will no longer have validation. We voted you into office...we can surely vote you out. The citizens of this country ARE the majority. You need to open your eyes.
