    Inside Wonder Con 2012

This is a small video we made of different cos players and other crazy sights at Wonder Con!

We are Brittany and Brianna Winner (aka The Winner Twins), teenage multiple award winning sci fi authors. We have had our own booth at different comic conventions since the age of twelve. This was our first year at Wonder Con and we will definitely return to next year.

Considering that it was its first year here in SoCal it was packed. Usually first year shows are empty. We noticed a great majority of the people there were either regular San Diego Comic Con/WonderCon goers or completely new to going to conventions.  It seemed to be either one of the two extremes.

It was a smaller version of San Diego Comic Con. It had the best of San Diego Comic Con and the smaller cons put together.

It had the presence of Hollywood and the major video game and comic companies but with shorter lines so you could get in without fighting for tickets. Wonder Con also had all parts of geek culture present from gaming to steampunk to anime etc, so there were a wide variety of events, panels and booths to choose from. This is unusual for smaller cons.  There were also the most cosplayers we have seen at a smaller convention.#

One of the highlights of the show was the DC Comics booth. At the booth you could get a cool free green screen picture with superheroes as well as get autographs from everyone from the cast of Fringe and Alcatraz to famous artists and writers. We were lucky to be placed right across from them.

We are looking forward to Wonder Con 2013.
