    Wildlife of India

    India is known for its tigers. I spent 2 weeks searching for tigers in the deep jungles of India. What Iwas surprised to encounter was the diverse wildlife in India's nations parks and forests. Thousands of monkeys. Herds of spotted deer. Barking Deer? What is a Barking Deer. When a Barking Deer calls it sounds like a dog barking with a sore throat. Crocodiles are present in some of the rivers. Jackals scavenger for food and yes you may see a tiger. Attached is some of the wildlife I encountered in India's forests.
