Metamorphosis
Metamorphosis of tadpoles, poly-wogs, toads and bull frogs are a favorite to watch down at the deer watering hole. My young grandsons can't wait to hear the spring peepers because they know there will be tadpoles in the small pond. We go down with nets and a jar to catch three or four. They have a frog habitat that gives the perfect stage to watch the growing poly wogs. Once they are small frogs we release them back to the pond. We see all sorts of frogs and toads but we are never sure if any of the big guys are the ones we raised in our tank.
