Take three of my cousins in a week-thank you Lord-I won't complain !
By Tom Livsey, Ourtown National News Editor,
Like each one of you realize now, if you hadn't before, you will soon understand, when I say, that , "I 've had some good days...and I 've had some hills to climb..."
My prayer to each and every one of my three cousin families, who have lost one of their most influential members in their life.
I challenge you all to become the kind of person that they have been molding you all along. I pray that you all keep a deep faith in God, don't question or complain about the Lord's scheme of Life....
To the Hawk Family of Shelby, NC.
Although we have had such a short time together, your brother, Thomas(Tim Hawk), has brought us, Gale, Carol Hawk(maiden names), along with his beautiful daughter Ms. Hawk, closer together today !
To the Johnson Family of Buford, Ga. sorrow fills my heart due to seeing his father, who just buried his son, and had so much faith in God, that he came to another funeral, for another cousin, in less than 24 hours...That is religion, folks !
To Lyn Roberts and LaDawn Hackett of Buford, Georgia. I want you to know that cousin Doris, is still right there, if you sleep with your right palm toward Heaven.
Let it be known cousins, the three who climbed up 'The Stairway to Heaven', be the steps are numerous, steep and winding. Chances are that they all carpooled together to greet Saint Peter...
But most importantly, They Won't Complain...
So if you all allow me to ask you to listen to Rev. Paul Jones, (I Won't Complain), one time, and hopefully, your loved ones can hear this great song on their journey, and hopefully will perhaps give you a sense of peace, a warm blanket of comfort, and an abundant portion of relentless faith, that we sustain you all until the day, that you will make that climb yourself...sit on the side of the Lord.
My heart bleeds for all you cousins. This is the only way, I know how to show my love.
Therefore, I want you all to listen closely to the song link below, because this song might describe the next few days, and weeks that you all will face ahead of you...However, you won't complain, either !
