Life with autism: Share your story

    Our Autistic Blessing

CNN PRODUCER NOTE     ramcy78 and the Mendoza family taped a message for the world from their home: Autism is not a death wish. Parents Jessica and Randy have a two-year-old son, Efraim, who was diagnosed with pervasive developmental disorder not otherwise specified (PDD-NOS) in January 2012. Receiving the diagnosis confirmed the family’s inklings. 'It was actually a relief for me. My younger brother also has autism. I kind of already saw the signs in my son. Seeing the signs in my son and getting the results, we can move on with therapies,' Jessica said.
