DWTS Rules Shakeup Tonight As Wagner Gets The Boot
After too many close calls to count, and with way too many judges scoring '8' en mass, the rules were changed on ABC's DWTS tonight.
The bottom two couples as voted by the fans will be asked to perform a “dance-off” head to head (Starting next week), and it will be judges Carrie Ann Inaba, Len Goodman, and Bruno Tonioli will decide who goes home.
But it turns out this is not new for the show, as 'Ms Dance Show', my wife Roberta reminded me. The last time this system was used was in season 8.
Could this be ratings related? There was tough competition last night from the NCAA basketball championship, and NBC's 'The Voice'.
The soap opera star Jack Wagner (Melrose Place, General Hospital) got the boot by the fans tonight. He was dressed last night like a rejected 80's 'new waver', so I'm sure that didn't help!
See you next week on ABC...
