    Off Their Rockers

Betty White's reality comedy and her large cast of actors was truly a breath of fresh air for television last night. No belly laughs, but a lot of chuckles and I found myself smiling for the entire 22 minutes. With it's "Candid Camera" feel I think Miss White is onto something. This amazing lady at 90 years old and still working, with a current weekly television show, commercials and guest appearances ( I myself can't keep up with her)  is incredible. What a fine example of a human being for Senior Citizens or just anyone, no age barrier here, she's energetic, quick witted, loves life and is not missing out on one single minute of it.

Most of the skits take place at Venice Beach, Union Station in downtown Los Angeles and the Santa Monica area.  One skit in particular that I enjoyed was an old gentleman doing a skate board routine at Venice Beach, the youngsters in the background watching in amazement.  The Senior Citizen pulled off some fancy moves on the skateboard and after his performance, he then walked away slowly with the aide of his cane leaving the young group scratching their heads in wonderment. Can't wait to share this clip with my grandson an avid skateboarder or my son (my grandson's Dad) for that matter an older advid skateboarder.  What a concept, a show that you can share with the whole family!
