A replica of the Shrine of Our Lady of Lourdes in France: A favorite church during Holy Week

CNN PRODUCER NOTE     Sunsetlady shot these pictures at the Shrine of Our Lady of Lourdes in Bulacan, Philippines. 'People flock to this shrine during Holy Week especially during Holy Friday,' she says. 'There's a presentation and talk inside the church on the "7 last words" where people stay to watch and listen.' She adds that there were long lines of people waiting to drink the water from the miraculous spring and a part in the shrine where people can offer candles. The entire visit is a popular religious tradition in the country called 'Visita Iglesia'. 'Holy Week for Filipinos is a big religious occasion and tradition when Catholics and devotees spend time in practicing their faith,' she says. Her favorite part of the week is Easter Sunday.
