The Dream Defenders: Set On Marching For Trayvon Martin

CNN PRODUCER NOTE     jfb2022 uploaded this iReport on behalf of Vanessa. Vanessa says she along with 40 other people from across the nation as well as college students in Florida are marching from Daytona Beach, Florida to Sanford. They are marching more than 40 miles to protest the broken judiciary system in America she says. Their overall message is to bring justice for Trayvon Martin and see George Zimmerman arrested and tried in court. She describes the march as being very positive. 'It has been really uplifting for us to see so many students with so many backgrounds say "hey we are different, but we all agree that this is wrong,"' she says. She says they plan to reach Sanford later tonight and attend a rally on Sunday.
    - Jareen, CNN iReport producer

Inspired by the 1965 march from Selma to Montgomery, a coalition of students operating under the name Dream Defenders have dedicated themselves to marching from Daytona, Fl. to Sanford, Fl. in hopes of seeking justice in the Trayvon Martin Case. Since their journey began yesterday, they have received support from all over the nation including the support of Jeff Johnson, an award-winning journalist, social activist, and political commentator that is also marching with them.

Together, these Dream Defenders have covered over 21 miles and show no signs of stopping now. Filling the air with chants and soulful songs of justice, this enthusiastic group plans to rally at Allen Chapel in Sanford, Fl. at 7pm tomorrow night to announce the next plan of action.
What exactly will that entail? STAY TUNED!
I have a feeling this revolution will be televised!
