    Easter Parade Extravaganza

    CNN PRODUCER NOTE     RVCFOTO says she attended the annual Easter parade in New York City, but she says it was more like a stroll. She says the stroll started back during the days when parishioners would leave after Sunday Mass and walk up and down 5th avenue to show their fashionable attire. She says she hopes this trend will continue, 'it brings back what this parade was all about in the beginning.'

    Every year for Easter in front of St. Patrick Cathedral up to 57th street on 5th ave, adults, children and even pets stroll up and down the avenue showing off their creative, elegant bonnets and attire.

     

    The streets were pack with spectators from different states and countries. Pets and children are always a fun part of this parade.
