Obama's lack of leadership
As tempting as it is to select just one area where our government has failed us, it can be traced back in large part to one glaring item: a fundamental lack of leadership by Pres. Obama. Instead of directing meetings to discuss practical solutions to our problems, he blames others (Republicans in Congress) for not acting, or "co-opertating". Nonesense. Leaders don't place blame, they act, decisively and effectively. Democrat Pres. Clinton did good work with a Republican congress. GOP Pres. Reagan was effective with Dem. Sen leader O'neill. Obama just whines and complains and blames others. He campaigns and gives flowery speaches but does not do any hard, practical work to actually address, much less solve our many problems. He's in way over his head and treats it all like a big (political) game. He's got to go.
