Tremors felt in Colombo,and Kandy,Sri Lanka
The earthquake which struck off Indonesia, its tremors were felt in the Capital city of Colombo and parts of Kandy, my friend in Colombo felt the chair she was sitting on move slightly and she thought that she was going to faint, when her boss told all of them to evacuate the building where she was working in Colombo, while in Kandy my neighbour had also felt her chair shaking, I was out in the Garden so I did not feel it. but most of the people in many parts of the Island had felt tremors, a grim reminder of the 2004 tsunami, where Sri Lanka lost a number of people.
I pray and hope that no tsunami occurs anywhere in the world, and bring back the horror of 2004 once again, it has been raining also heavily and last week it rained hail stones in Kandy which has never occurred ever before.
