    The War on Women

CNN PRODUCER NOTE     drthema is a psychologist who works with women and sees 'the stress and strain women carry on a daily basis.' She voted for President Obama in 2008 and 'will vote for him again because [GOP frontrunner Mitt] Romney has made promises and statements that indicate he will promote policies that infringe on women's healthcare and economic standing.'
    - dsashin, CNN iReport producer

I am paying attention to what candidates are proposing as it relates to the lives of women - our health care, jobs, and resources. I can only support candidates whose policies promote and protect the lives and rights of women. We are more likely to live in poverty and are in need of many of the services that are on the chopping block. When people put corporations over the lives of women I have to step back. Any candidate who after years of evidence to the contrary still believes in trickle down economics does not deserve the votes of women. Support us and we will support you. Do not claim to respect women if your policies are in direct opposition to our well-being. Regardless of party affiliation, women are listening to the proposals that will shape our lives.
