    CNN PRODUCER NOTE     Fagerstrom and his family from Sweden were at a hotel pool when the ground started shaking in Phuket, Thailand. All of the guests at the Marriott were asked to go up to the roof to wait out the possible tsunami. About 100 people waited on the roof for five-and-a-half hours, with food and drink. There was a mood of 'stress,' he said. 'Some cried. Some people are quite panicking. But some people sat there quite calm as well.'

    Me and my family was at the pool when the ground suddenly started to shake. People ran out of their rooms at the hotel. Then people began running upstairs saying "There might be a Tsunami coming". We got to the top of the hotel. After about an hour the staff started preparing for a long visit on the rooftop. We got up there about 1440 and we were allowed to go back to our rooms at 19:30. We are told that there might be a wave coming from the aftershocks, but they will sound the fire alarm if there's danger coming our way.
