It was the winter formal, not prom. But really, what's the difference?
He had broken up with his girlfriend and I swooped in. Captain of the Science Olympiad team is single?? Sign me up. We dated for one whole week. And he dumped me. At the dance. So he could get back with his girlfriend.
We went to the same college, but didn't see each other. Well, he swears he said hi to me outside the Physics building once and I ignored him. I don't think this ever happened.
10 years after that dance I sent him a "friend" request on Facebook just because I wondered what happened to him. Turns out we were living a few blocks from each other and started dating. We managed to date each other much longer than a week this time and got married last year.
The end.
