    "Halo-Halo" : My Favorite Philippine Snack

    CNN PRODUCER NOTE     JherryPhons says this favorite Filipino summertime snack helps alleviate the hot weather in the Philippines.

    Halo-Halo (halo meaning "mix") is a favorite Filipino snacks especially during hot season. This snack is sweet, creamy and a very yummy dessert. This food is a mixture of sweet preserved beans, coconut meat, jack-fruit, pounded dried rice, sweet yam, cream flan, shreds of sweetened plantain, filled with crushed ice, milk and topped with ice cream.

     

    If you are in the Philippines, don't forget to look for this food for your snack. If you find a hard time saying the word Halo-Halo, just say the word "Mix-Mix", LoL.
