Zimmerman arrest too late for America

CNN PRODUCER NOTE     omekongo was one of the first iReporters to weigh in on the Trayvon Martin case. Then, he said the case got to him 'emotionally' because 'Young black men get killed for just being themselves and doing nothing.' Now that charges have been filed against George Zimmerman, he has mixed feelings. “Now that there’s an arrest, I’m happy for the Martin family, but everyone's going to have their own definition of justice,' he said. 'I just don’t trust the justice system enough and I don’t think there will be justice in this case.'
    - zdan, CNN iReport producer

While I am happy for the Martin family that they got the arrest they were seeking, the rest of the nation has already been set back by the verbal race war that has ensued. We have to work to heal as a nation.
