A Garlic Float

Filipinos show innovative and creative skills during the Aliwan Fiesta celebration.
The Aliwan Fiesta, considered as the mother of all festival in the Philippines, is a celebration and competition of gigantic floats, street dancers and beauty pageant that showcases different Philippine culture and heritage.
The celebration kicks off today, and the grand parade is scheduled on Saturday, April 14.
Each region represents one float at the grand parade that highlights the identity of the region, including crafts and products.
This float is from Ilocos region, and the materials used are mainly garlic and other recycled materials.
