Justice Delayed Is Not Justice Denied

It is about time!! Many people in the world slept a little more peacefully last night after hearing about the arrest of George Zimmerman and the charge of 2nd degree murder. Now we can let the justice system, which of course is not without its flaws, figure out what when wrong on the tragic day Trayvon Martin lost his life. The way I felt listening to Ms. Corey speak yesterday felt eerily similar to the way I felt the day that they were reading the OJ Simpson verdict. I'm not comparing this case to the OJ case. I'm simply saying the anxiety and anticipation with which i held my breath for what seemed like an eternity seemed very familiar. And now the world must wait. We must wait to see how this whole thing plays out. Only two people will every truly know what happened that night. One is in the jail. The other is in the ground. This presents its own set of challenges that both sides must face. It will certainly be an interesting case to follow and as we have been, the world will be watching.
