Backfire! Our Wild West U.S. Gun Laws.
Our Wild West U.S. Gun Laws.
What is the aim of introducing gun laws reminiscent of when there were no gun laws? Put even more guns out there to go off? Give trigger-happy punks a way to get away with murder? Give them the same firepower as our lawmen? Make the man on the street as safe as they were back in lawless days?
There are already more guns on the street than people on the street. Should we run old western movies so the population learns how to draw two guns – at lightning speed? If everyone is packing heat, who lives or who dies is determined by who is fastest on the draw.
The backfire of easy to get guns and laws that make them easy to own and use is 31,347 gun deaths*. Reckless gun laws can only increase that number.
