What kind of wildflowers are these?

Normally, this area of Brookton, Maine, along the New Brunswick, Canadian border is full of snow at this time of year, Thursday, April 12th. But surprisingly enough, I came across many flowers, yellow in color, and I identified them as dandelions, but I know that can't be right.

I then went to a list of Maine wildflowers, and there were more than 1000 on the list. So I though I'd upload this video and ask the question, what kind of wildflowers are these?

I will candidly admit that my life is boring, that the area I live in is devoid of people and very boring, and that this is not an exciting iReport.

For those interested in cameras, I am experimenting with a new Go Pro HD Hero2 camera, and by keeping it in the waterproof case, the sound is dampened.

I have just received an external mike, which requires the use of a skeleton case, which will require a bit more care if it rains, etc..

Also, I notice that although the Hero2 gives a great, 170 degree view, which would be great if you were videoing protests or crowds of people, it does not look so hot on close-ups.

Meaning, that for me to get these tiny flowers to look large, I would have had to get down on my hands and knees to within a foot off the flowers.

That is because the Go Pro Hero2 is sitting on my head in a head mount that comes with the camera. I guess I could have taken the Hero2 off my head and held it close to the flowers? Or, I could have brought my Flip for iReports of this nature.

I must admit that I am having fun with my Go Pro Hero2, and may mount it on the outside of my van and drive down the road, just for the heck of it....LOL

It comes with camera mounts for autos, and just about any purpose, including a wrist and chest strap.
