Georgia Governor Nathan Deal, veto HB 954
Peggy Peek Marx, a retired nurse, reading a letter addressed to Governor Nathan Deal, urging him to veto HB 954; she eloquently describes the potential effects of this law.
Peggy, on behalf of a Georgia-based independent group of women and men, was delivering copy of a petition with more than 1,850 signatures.
The petition is part of activities in support of women's rights which will include a march and rally from Centennial Olympic Park to the Gold Dome, on Saturday April 28, beginning at 8:30 a.m.
