iReport at the movies
I laughed out Loud...
I got the chance to see The Three Stooges earlier today and I knew it was gonna be funny because the Farrely brothers were behind it. I knew there was gonna be more controversial humor because that's what The Farrely brothers are known for. But it was very funny and there were some scenes that will surely get negative attention. But hey, it's HUMOR and even tho some was a bit harsh, you'd have to have some pretty thick skin to enjoy this movie. If you didn't like some of their other movies like "There's something about Mary, or one of their most recent ones Hall Pass, then you wont like this one. The Farrely brothers know all about humor and tend to use controversial humor which I love. Even tho it's Rated PG, families will want to think twice before taking their children to see this. If I had kids i'd take them because it's a COMEDY! Stupid but very funny!
Thumbs up from me...
Oh and I can see where some may be offended by seeing a gorgeous nun in a bikini, but hey it's a Farrely movie.
Some groups are already offended and this is what they've said, "The Catholic League is in an uproar over the way nuns are depicted in Peter and Bobby Farrelly's redo of "The Three Stooges," which 20th Century Fox opens Friday domestically.
In a terse statement issued Thursday, Catholic League president Bill Donohue takes issue with a "nun bikini" and large rosary worn by swimsuit model Kate Upton in the slapstick comedy as well as with Larry David's character.
David, like Upton, plays a nun in "Three Stooges," and his character's name is Sister Mary-Mengele -- named after infamous Nazi Josef Mengele."
People, don't be a softy, go out and enjoy some hard slapstick laughs...
