THE TRAYVON TRAGEDY
I alwaays feel bad when someone's life is suddenly ended, especially by vigilantism ! Because, whatever way you perceive the TRayvon Zimmerman altercation that's what it amounts too !
Zimmerman doesn't strike me as a violent individual filled with racial hate,etc. but rather an individual trying to protect his neighborhood from becoming another crime infested place as so many have in the US today !
That being said he should NEVER have taken the law into his own hands and shot Trayvon, there are plenty of trigger happy cops out there that are ready and willing to do that at a moments notice !
Zimmerman displays the characteristics as a hero-cop wannabe,etc and he probably imagined that this was his big moment of heroic glory in the eyes of his neighbors who probably have a high regard for him !
I see the whole scenario as a continuance ALA-RODNEY KING-OJ etc of many in America's black, hispanic and asian communities to protest and scream vengeance for members of their races that they normally would have NO contact or concern for whatsoever and in many cases such as gangs and juvenile crfiminality which is rampant these days unfortunately, may well have become eventual victims of !
The same reactions and vengefulness exists within the white and jewish communities,etc Whenever you have a multi-cultural society, it is inevitable that racial difefrences and tensions exist as we have witnessed throughout sad human history !
That being said, Zimmerman, right, wrong or otherwise, can NEVER receive a FAIR trial as a result of the unprecedented mecdia and national outcries exposures and MOB-MENTALITY projected at him !
I am NOT religious, but if America has so MANY christians,etc, whatever happened to forgiveness and let the lord judge,etc ?
I have lived over 25 years in the US and have nothing but respect and highest regards for America and what I have always said is the World's BEST justice system, but Zimmerman is NEVER going to receive that justice as a result of the hysteria now raging across the land !
