    Fave Summer Ice Treat!

     

    Halo-Halo is a traditional Filipino ice treat consisting of fruit blends, sweet preserves, evaporated milk, and crushed ice.Topped with a scoop of ice cream. The name literally means "Mix-Mix."
    The Halo-Halo Ingredients:
    kaong (sweet palm fruit), macapuno (silky coconut), langka (jackfruit), munggo (mung beans), saba (banana-like plantain), ube (purple yam), mais (corn), nata de coco (coconut gelatin), pinipig (dried rice, pounded), sago (pearls similar to boba)
    Top it with evaporated milk,leche flan and a scoop of ice cream.(Make it 3 scoops here)
    Make sure to mix thoroughly before digging in. This huge bowl is good for 8-10 servings. Yum!
