    CNN PRODUCER NOTE     photogirlkt says she lives in the center of town in the city of Wichita, Kansas. Her street is designed to have water run through it and spill into a storm drain. 'About midnight I was in my basement, and I came upstairs and I see the water - it looked like a river,' she says. 'We haven't had a storm like this in ten to fifteen years," she says. "When I was little we prepared for storms, hearing the sirens and then going to the basement. Going through this experience, I felt like a little kid, young and scared.'

    Whenever we get a good wholesome rain, my street likes to double as a river, complete with currents, rapids and occasionally a kayak...yes, I did say a kayak. This photo was taken tonight around midnight in Wichita Ks right after the mega storm passed.
