    Tartan Day Parade-1

    CNN PRODUCER NOTE     RVCFOTO enjoys taking photographs of the beautiful, diverse parades that the Big Apple has to offer. The Tartan parade celebrates Scottish heritage through music performances and other events held around the city. She says the crowd fell in love with the adorable Scottish terriers that were walked down the parade route.

    This was the 10th anniversary of the Tartan Parade which took place in NYC on Sat April 14th. The parade is the last celebration at the end of Tartan Week.

    Scottish pipe bands, Highland dancers and Scottish & West Highland Terriers all march up 6th ave to flag waving, cheering spectators which consist of mostly Scottish/Americans.
