Around 2 businesses from around Vermont and New Hampshire had displays at the Caledonia County Home and Garden Show today, Sunday, April 1, 2012
Show organizer Cinda Nichols says. "It is a way for a bunch of businesses to get together and show their products come in contact with a lot of people in the area we have people that are from as far as Piermont, New Hampstire today that are displaying their products all the way up to Newport, Vermont. I just think its a great exposure...From going to the home shows in past years, there was something missing i always thought so i saw a need for live demonstrations."
Piermont Plant Pantry from Piermont, New Hampshire, having been in business for 38 years, was first to give a live demonstration of how to make window flower box. Jean Underhill, a Pantry employee, gave the demonstration.
Underhill says, "We are going to be planting a window box to show people how versatile they can be and all the plants you can put in them and be as creative as you want to be and they always come out beautiful."
Two window boxes were sold after the demonstration.
Nichols concludes, " we hope everyone comes out we would be happy to show your products as well and we just think its a great family and community event."
