    Montauk Moon Set

    CNN PRODUCER NOTE     alleebeth, of New York City, shot this picture of the moon setting in Montauk, New York. 'I was staying at a beautiful hotel with panoramic views of the beach and ocean,' she says. 'I saw the moon shining over the Atlantic so brightly that I had to take some pictures. It was glowing and it was gorgeous!'

    A few days ago I was in the town of Montauk. It's a sleepy village just East of The Hamptons, Long Island's jewel for the rich & famous.

    This is a view of the Atlantic Ocean. The moon was glistening, it was extraordinary!
