    Shuttle flys away into the sun


    CNN PRODUCER NOTE     NASA enthusiast Skinnywater captured these photos in Cocoa, Florida, of the Shuttle Discovery making it's final journey to the Smithsonian Air and Space Museum in Washington, D.C. 'Being in close proximity to the space center and living here for the past 40-some years, you grow a close association with the space program, whether you're employed by it or not,' he said. 'It's what your neighbors do, it's in the culture.'

    Shuttle watchers along the Indian River in Cocoa were treated to a beautiful site as the shuttle lifts off for the last time from KSC!
