    NASA Shuttle Flyover

CNN PRODUCER NOTE     JoeyMac1983, of Washington, D.C. shot this picture of Discovery's last flight before landing. 'Growing up and looking up into the starts and wanting to go to space and then growing up and seeing the shuttle take off, and maybe I didn't see it take off first hand, but to see it fly overhead - it was impressive as hell,' he says. 'We're explorers. I hope that we continue to explore further and go deeper.'
    - ssesha, CNN iReport producer

My girlfriend and I went to the National Mall to watch the NASA shuttle, Discovery, fly over head. It was amazing to watch something that has traveled so far and is so historic to be so close. Watching it fly by reminded me of being a kid looking up at the stars and hoping one day I could go into outer space myself.
Thank you NASA for giving me the opportunity to be a kid again.
