    CNN PRODUCER NOTE     mlehky, of Centreville, Virginia, says he started working in the aviation industry just as the shuttle started flying. 'Some of my most vivid memories are of Challenger and Columbia,' he says. While he thinks it's the end of an era, he says, 'All good things must end and the shuttle is certainly due for replacement, but to stop the program prior to that replacement is short-sited.'
