    Space Shuttle Discovery's DC Flyover

CNN PRODUCER NOTE     JeffphotoDC1, of Washington, D.C., shot these pictures from East Potomac Park. 'This was a historic event. To see Discovery fly over Washington, D.C. was a once-in-a-lifetime event,' he says. 'Seeing Discovery made me proud to be an American. It also made me t hink of the brave astronauts who lost their lives in the other shuttle missions.'
    - ssesha, CNN iReport producer

I was among many people who gathered at Hains Point in Southwest Washington, DC on a beautiful Spring day, awaiting the arrival of Discovery. We were not disappointed. She made a grand entrance atop the 747 she hitched a ride on.
