Final flight of the Shuttle Discovery

CNN PRODUCER NOTE     willdupuis, of Chambersburg, Pennsylvania, caught the metro to the Arlington Station and set up in time to take photos on the Arlington Memorial Bridge in Washington, D.C. 'I thought it was important to view the last flight of the Shuttle Discovery because I grew up loving the Space Program and the Space Shuttles were a huge part of that. I’ve rarely missed an opportunity to watch the launches, catching them on TV or online when I could. I was even fortunate enough to see the Discovery when it was on the launch pad for the first time since the Columbia Disaster,' he says. 'Watching the last flight yesterday made me feel as if I was watching a passing of the torch in the transition from the near orbit missions of the past to the deep space exploration that is now the set goal of our Nations Space Program.'
    - ssesha, CNN iReport producer

I drove into Washington DC from Pennsylvania today to watch the last flight of the Space Shuttle Discovery. I viewed it from the Arlington Memorial Bridge.
