Pres Obama's attempt to hold prices on OIL (UNCLASSIFIED)

Classification: UNCLASSIFIED Caveats: NONE   Pres Obama coming out for Fuel Savings. I have two entries in Fuel out of  America.    Article 1 – On the Wednesday or it may Tuesday before Thanksgiving(2011) in USA TODAY Business Section toward the last paragraphs,  it said the Conoco-Phillips Inc sold 15% of the company to a new company.  This company was going to take Oil from Oklahoma wells, ship through pipe line to Texas  refineries then, export the fuel elsewhere.  I have never understand the reason for ”old oil”, or is this the political solution to export oil out of the country.   Article 2 – This article maybe Political. This was advertising against the fame pipeline that Nebraska stopped or delayed in building of it. Oil from  Dakotas and Canada, ship to Texas Refineries and then export the oil to other countries.  If these other countries do not like the USA, then why do we do them a service to them and probably give the countries American money to buy American oil.   Now excuses for high prices, has been not enough Refineries.  How long has corporate American been exporting fuel.   Both articles show we have enough to export fuel out of US.   Why do we pay the expense of buying oil from other countries, then we do refineries here.        Thanks  Jerry "Jer" Weremy  CENWO-RM-F   JERRY.D.WEREMY@USACE.ARMY.MIL   PHONE 402.995.2905  Email            jerry.d.weremy@usace.army.mil  RMO            https://w3.nwo.usace.army.mil/html/rm-fa/RMOHOME.htm       Classification: UNCLASSIFIED Caveats: NONE
