Dangerous Not So "Smart" Utility Meters
This is what matters to me.
The electric, water and gas utility companies across the U.S. are forcing all of their customers to have transmitting digital utility meters, sometimes called "smart" meters and sometimes called "DUmeters" .
The problem is that these meters were manufactured in China with a fatal flaw. These meters have a small electric component in them called "switch mode Power supply" but this SMPS is malfunctioning and causing the meters to both emit and transmit tremendous levels of microwave radiation and electromagnetic radiation. There was never any health, safety or environmental testing done before these meters were approved by U.S. and state agencies.
I was terribly injured by one of these malfunctioning devices which was installed on my house in New York by Con Edison. I was lucky that Con Edison removed that meter but now they are refusing to remove any more meters, even when people have presented doctors letters asking that for health reasons the meters be removed. Thousands of people are being made sick by this unprecedented exposure to radiation and the U.S. government knows this because we've been telling them for two years. The FCC knows, the FDA knows, the CDC knows, the DOE knows, the DOJ knows and countless letters have been written to elected officials, including President Obama. We are not being listened to, so more people will be injured. The utility companies are getting away with murder and the U.S government is allowing this disaster to take place.
DUmeters and "smart" meters are not "green" as the utility companies would like us to believe, these meters were invented to get rid of meter readers 20 to 30 years ago. This idea was stupid from the start and the meters need to be recalled and replaced with the analog meters that the utility companies should never have taken off of our homes in the first place.
