    CNN PRODUCER NOTE     iReporter hof799 was lucky enough to snap a photo alongside Dick Clark in the early 1990s at the tv legend's restaurant in Overland Park, KS. The Overland Park branch closed in 2007, but was one of multiple Dick Clark-themed restaurants nationwide.

    I had a chance opportunity to meet Dick Clark in person at Dick Clark's American Bandstand circa 1992 in Overland Park, KS. It was an awesome experience to meet someone of his stature and yet he was extremely humble and polite as could be. I will never forget him thanking me for coming to his restaurant.
