Dick Clark: Chosen, Blessed and Highly Favored

    Dick Clark 1929 - 2012
“Chosen” - “Blessed” - and “Highly Favored”

As we say good-bye to “our childhood” memories of a legend: Dick Clark, we suddenly remember Don Cornelius and that “Soul Train Line!” It seems like it was just yesterday that we cried for Him! Now, our hearts are again saddened in the loss of a man who “affected the lives of so many through His Gifts!” In addition, He was a “shrewd” “Business Man”-- Go figure!

Could it be possible that “He” left us with “Joy?”-- “Yes.”-- He taught us something... Even while being threatened for introducing different music and cultures to the public and interracial dancing, he rose above the condemnation and judgment and continued to share his gift with the world.

    “He was HUMAN!”

Though we are saddened by the passing of Dick Clark, we are reminded of an excerpt from a heartfelt piece on December 4, 2011- by Julie Ackerman Link-

“...Though now our world is locked in strife, One day He'll make all conflict cease.” - Sper.

I believe Dick Clark knew this when he chose to “integrate” American Bandstand-- Brilliant! During this time of Division and Hatred in America and the World's History, when few can claim any of the accolades that Dick Clark (1929 – 2012) did, we suppose that makes him a 'Man for All Seasons!!'

We can only “pray” that he leaves an example that someone chooses to follow … But, I doubt it! So, those words are true “There is no remedy for Love but to Love more ...” Obviously Dick Clark got it right! Thank God.”

Dick Clark moved out of his “Comfort Zone”
Dick Clark looked beyond “race, creed or color to see “genius” in the MOTOWN SOUND!”
    Dick Clark Respected Others
Dick Clark United Races of People thru Music

    REWARDS

    Was “blessed” with riches
    Was “Highly favored”

To the Family & Friends of Dick Clark - “Forever Young”- “Chosen” - “Blessed”- and “Highly Favored” We extend our deep sympathies. We pray that he heard the words “Well done my good and faithful servant”-- by God!

It is by dying that one receives Everlasting Life!

    In Christ,
