Sarah Palin: Is there a double standard?

    More from gloveside45

    TWO FACED IS TWO SIDED

    (FAIR BUT DEFINITELY NOT BALANCED)

When Republicans refer to Obama as "two faced" the only thing that came to mind was, really? The reason for such a simplistic response was due to the fact that the republicans made experience and judgement the numero uno issue during the primaries, hell the Clinton's even used it against him.

Palin is not very experienced in the scheme of things, she ran a very small budget in Wasilla, which to her "credit "was budgeted extremely poorly, in fact she arrived with a surplus and left with the highest debt the city had ever seen. So let's be honest, while you can count this as "experience" is that really the kind that you want to have to pull from to support your ability to be president on day one? Apparently that's one of the ones the republicans want to use, Really?

The other is her experience in fighting corruption in Alaska. This is actually a very strong platform to run on, however she wasn't fighting democrats, she ousted a Republican. I commend her greatly for what she did, she acted as though she had crossed party lines to attack an opposing red dogged republican - genius! Except for one minor detail, those same republicans and their friends were the ones she ousted and now they support her. This isn't going to be brought up much on republican talking memos is it, YES ACTUALLY IT IS! She fought Republican Corruption and she's a Republican, and the Republicans are touting this as great experience in fighting corruption, Really?

She FLAT OUT LIED about her opposition to the bridge to nowhere, even though documented proof of her support is available. Did she do the evil thing, dare I say Flip-Flop? Oh no of course not , she opposed it from the beginning, let's not use that word, it's Kerry Evil (remember the sandals at the convention, wasn't that priceless). I guess they should break them out again cause we have another candidate flip-flopping. The republicans aren't really going to tout this as her opposition to pork belly spending, are they? Really?

What about the declaration that she fought corporations and big oil, even though she supported a $40 billion dollar oil pipeline, and her husband happens to work for BP, plus she is a Supporter of drilling in ANWAR - of course she thinks its only a few hundred acres that will be touched -- what if they don't find oil in the first place, then what? Drill more? This is the Republicans reason that she's going to fight corps and big oil, Really?

OKAY WHOSE RUNNING THE SHOW FOR THE REPUBLICANS, THIS IS GETTING DOWNRIGHT RIDICULOUS!

Republicans when we hear words like "Two-Faced" coming from your mouths, or coming from your candidates, you might want to check your own record first...I know I know, Really?
