    I am mainly doing this for fun or am I? My folks grew up on a farm and I watched them plant vegetables for our minestrone all my life. Nothing beets (beats) fresh veggies from the garden especially their roma tomatos.

    I bought some seeds a few weeks ago and planted them. I am so excited to see my beets sprouting. I love this veggie and eat it mainly because I need iron in my diet.
