    I love my garden!

You cannot imagine how excited I get when the first seed catalog arrives in my mailbox at the end of winter. I pour over the catalog and mark the varieties that I want to try this year and when I am sure that I have picked just the right things, I order and sit and wait for my seeds to arrive.

It has taken me a few years to perfect how to grow a good seedling, there really is a bit more to it than the seed packs suggest.

I started my seeds mid February this year and planted them in the ground at the end of March. I think my tomatoes have tripled in size already and one is even sporting it's first bloom.

This year I am planting lettuce, spinach, strawberries, tomatoes, several varieties of peppers, egg plant, basil, and cucumbers.

Hopefully the temperatures won't be quite so hot this year. The heat was very hard on my tomatoes last year, but the bright side was that my egg plants flourished.

So, that is my garden in a nut shell.
