Veteran benefits
Since the civil war soldiers have gone to fight on the battle field many have returned injured for life due to a service connected disability. After the civil war young soldiers returned back home estrangedfrom their families conforonted with unknown problems. The drug addiction many soldiers returned back home from the civil war was unheard of for the times. The administration of heroine to treat wounds and kill pain creaed many a soldier who became addicted. In 1865 there were no drug treatment centers, no psychologist or pyschiatrist and no idea what about PTDS. The civil war did though produce a collection of data of returning soldiers and their aliments. This collection of data would later be turned into the diagnosis manual of statastics beter known as DSM. The book was updated through the years used to evalute many soldier of wwI, wwII, the korean war, Vietnam, the mid east wars and to date thas ben a book used to diagnosis pople and soldiers. We are now on DMS IV and DSM IV clearly defines the problems of war through the diagnosis of PTSD. PTSD is explained in detail, but the VA is not up to date with addressing the needs of disabled Veterans. THhere are many Veteran who have served this country are disabled do to their service to country but ae not recieving all the benefits they are entitled . The Veteran affairs is over loadd with claims and processing cliams to grant benefits is a long and arduous road. Appeals are even longer. The debates will center around the economy, gas prices, falling homne prices , and the standing of the United States as a super power. In the mix of all the issues the Veteran issue will be put on the back burner and taken for granted. Every time the United States is in a situation which requires military force young people are recruited and promised that their scarfice to country will not be in vain. Great speeches are preached on the podium glorifying valor, courage , bravery and patriotism to country. Once the war is over , the disputes are settled and corporations and leaders have made their goals , then the soldiers are forgotten, ignored and seen as a burden and a stain on liberty, justice and freedom. The red white and blue, the blood, the courage and country are just colors of a flag and not the true blood of warriors, soldiers and patriots. This election the true super pack are the veterans of the United States of America. I am not in the position financially to foen this super pac of true heros but I call out through this new age of digital media to all the super pac hero's of America know as Veteran of the United States armed forces. Stand up for the Veterans, fight back for your veteran rights, with honorable character, valor of the heart and sober reasoning of the mind remind the candidates I am somebody, I not just going to fade away, my service to country is engraved in the history for the fight for freedom the American way. Remember always: We took an oath to serve the United States of America. To uphold the constitution of the United States of America aainst all foreign and domestic enenmies . Our battles today are not on te battle field but with the beaurocracy of he Veteran affairs. We as veterans have our greatest strength granted to us all by the constitution we fought to uphold the right to vote This right , thie fourteenth amendment makes us the Veteran of the United States of America the super pac of herosa more powerful than any super pac in existence no matter how well finance the super pac, All super pacs are finance by the wealth of corporations and billonaires, the super pac I have in mind ihas been financed by the blood of fifty five thousand soldiers, the blood of brother aganist brother during the civil ws and the blood of all soldiers, male and female present and past. This election let the super pacs be on notice that America will not be brought with money, blood iruns through every stripes of the American flag. USA USA USA
