Wake up call!

Realizing that it was time to start eating real food I did what I thought would be the best thing to do. I ditched my regular supermarket and I started shopping at Whole Foods for 90% of my food needs. Cha-ching! Mucho money for healthy, organic fruits and veggies. Good thing farmers' markets are sprouting in Miami (pun intended). This helped lower the bill.
Being a hands on person I decided to try to save even more money by planting my own kitchen garden and with the help of a local landscaper that specializes in the matter a few weeks ago I got one.
I now have all kids of veggies and herbs growing and hopefully in a few weeks I will be enjoying the fruits (or veggies) of my labor.
Here are a couple of pictures of my raised bed. The first one is from the first week it was setup. The second one if the latest picture taken on April 18th.
