Oh how the years go by
This post is for a few friends who care. This week my wife went thru a full knee replacement. I am the HEAD nurse
You know what that means: meals, dog walks, physio, bandages, ice around the clock and all sorts of other things like pills and calendars and visits to the pharmacy and sometimes a little diet delight like pizza with gluten free crust, and ten thousand other things. Then where will we go next November for our fall holiday? Zion Canyon. is only logical.
Tears, crying, and rehab: and two dogs in the bed. My Raja and my Teddy along with my dear daughter Chaja. She's our chef from Thailand.
A little family, healing and struggling. Not unlike any other family any where else in the world. And we cling to each other and I feed the dogs salmon, olives and corn bread. Criticize me if you must. They never get sick from it.
We just hang out until my wife is well and walking and strong and then off to the volcano we go once more,.
Hopefully a few years more to tend what needs to be tended. Though we all know we have sunsets coming and horizons that must be met
Todays wine we drink today, tomorow's sorrows, we bear tomorrow. Our kids give us the stength to handle these great trials This is jus tone more day of struggles. No more nor less, knowing we could be in Afghanistan or Iraq and things could be so much worse. We are so lucky to have medical care.
