For me, the person that has opened my eyes to the culinary world isn't a family member but a rather close friend. His name is Bryan Pearson. The way he interested me in this strange foreign land of cooking was by simply getting me hooked on The Food Network channel. So hooked in fact, i found myself watching countless hours of prerecorded shows and staying up late to watch new episodes or just to simply watch more of the shows. With that new interest in cooking, i began taking baby steps into the kitchen, making meals that i had seen on TV and simply just cooking because i had found a new hobby that i enjoyed doing.
So, if anything, i owe Bryan Pearson a huge hug and a genuine thanking the next time i see him.
